At the beginning, we would like to address, that both vacuums present an extraordinary cleaning performance, taking into account this price range. To achieve this level, you usually have to pay double the price of these vacuums, which makes those units strong competitors on the market.

Although, before you decide on buying either one of those vacuums, there are some things, that you should know about.

The first and most important difference is the cleaning performance. Both vacuums use the same motor and have the same amount of power but Shark nv352 is a little better at utilizing this design. The unit somehow boasts a better suction and higher airflow which leads to better cleaning performance overall. Reaching for deep-down dirt in carpets, won’t be a problem for this product.

Another crucial difference is the number of included attachments. Those additional tools can make a big difference when cleaning, that’s why you should take aspect into consideration. The shark nv352 has a short crevice tool, wide upholstery tool, dusting brush, and long 24 in. crevice tool. While the shark nv360 only has a crevice and upholstery tool.

Even though both vacuums use the same motor and the official suction given by the manufacturer is the same, the cleaning performance is a little different. This is due to the better utilization of the design in the Shark nv352.

This also leads to the increased suction in this vacuum, compared to the Shark nv360. Although those aren’t big differences, it’s enough to notice a difference in cleaning, especially when reaching the deep-down dirt in carpets.

Therefore, if you are looking for the best possible option for removing the deep-down embedded debris, Shark nv352 should be your go-to in this comparison. The enhanced performance in those conditions can also result from the combination of great suction with the stiff bristles on the brush roll.

However, we need to address, that the suction in Shark nv360 is also pretty decent. It matches the suction stated by the manufacturer, which is still a great deal for this price. If you are after a day-to-day cleaning unit, this vacuum should 100% do the job.

Noise

For some people, noise is another crucial aspect when picking the new vacuum cleaner. The upright vacuum cleaners are usually noisier than for example robotic vacuums, so of course, we will compare them only in their own category.

Since we addressed it, we can say that both vacuums are pretty average in terms of noise. They aren’t particularly loud or quiet during the cleaning process, however, the Shark nv352 is a little louder product. The increased noise of this vacuum is probably connected to better suction and higher airflow, so it’s something to be expected.

The Shark nv360 produces around 77.3 dB. of noise, while the Shark nv352 gives out around 80 dB. of noise. The difference is rather small but we thought, that it may be worth mentioning. The reality is, that probably most of the consumers won’t notice this dissimilarity.

The next thing, that is critical when comparing two upright vacuums is the cleaning system. By this, we mean the brush design, suction, airflow, filters, included cleaning tools, and everything that helps to remove the debris. 

To start off, we will focus on all the included attachments in those vacuums. Some of them are not only useful but also became an irreplaceable part of the vacuum in our day-to-day tests.

The Shark nv352 comes with much more cleaning attachments, as in the package you may find:

• Short crevice tool – Removing any big debris or dirt, that otherwise could clog the main brush roll, will be easier with the help of this crevice tool.
• Wide upholstery tool – This tool is great at removing pet hair, and thanks to the wide design, it covers a lot of space at once.

It allows you to detach the canister from the rest of the vacuum and make the device much more portable. We found it particularly useful when cleaning the stairs.

Since we mentioned the canister, it’s also worth mentioning, that the capacity of this item is different. The Shark nv360 boasts a 0.1 quarts larger canister, measuring 1.2 quarts, while the Shark nv352 has the canister measuring 1.1 quarts.

A crucial thing about the cleaning system in those vacuums are the HEPA filters with Anti-Allergen Complete Seal Technology. Those features are usually found in upright vacuums for double the price of those models – especially the implementation of the Complete Seal Technology.

Throughout the years of testing, we’ve come to the conclusion, that this technology not only works well for people with allergies but everyone enjoys this feature. We sincerely can’t understand why this feature isn’t a standard in most of the vacuums.

This technology prevents the dust from polluting your air during the cleaning process. Since we started using vacuums with this feature, the whole process became much more enjoyable. Fortunately, the manufacturer implemented this technology in both vacuums.

The final thing about the cleaning system is the brush roll shutoff system. This is a feature, that allows you to turn off or turn on the brush roll, depending on the surface you are cleaning. We often used, that feature when switching between carpet and bare floor, in order to prevent any scratches.

Capacity

As we mentioned earlier, the capacity of the canisters differs slightly. The Shark nv352 has a canister with 1.1 quarts capacity, while the Shark nv360 has a canister with 1.2 quarts of capacity. It’s rather a small difference and won’t be noticeable during the cleaning process.

Since we are talking about the canisters, it’s worth adding that both vacuums have a canister, that can easily be detached, opened, emptied, and thoroughly cleaned. The ease of maintenance is also an important aspect when buying a new vacuum, as after all – we want it to serve us the longest time possible.

The design of the vacuums is very similar and besides the color and few other dissimilarities, it doesn’t differ too much. The most important characteristic is the weight of the vacuums, the Shark nv352 weighs 12.5 lb., while the Shark 360 weighs a full 13 lb.

This isn’t the major difference, however, if you are looking for a little lighter option, the nv352 model is something to consider. What’s important, those vacuums are more lightweight, than most of the upright vacuums on the market, even lighter than the top-shelf options.

The Shark nv352 measures 15 x 11.4 x 45.5 in. and the Shark nv360 measures 14.96 x 11.4 x 45.5 in. As you can see, the width and height of the vacuums also remain at a similar level.

One thing, that is done incredibly well when it comes to the design, is the maneuverability. Both vacuums are very easy to maneuver between the furniture, and removing even the most unreachable dirt, shouldn’t be a problem.

Cord length

If you have a big house, cord length may be something worth checking when buying a new vacuum cleaner. This is why we decided to take it into account when comparing the two units. However, there isn’t much to say, as both vacuums provide the same cord length measuring exactly 25 ft.

This length should be enough for most of the consumers, even those with big households. The only thing to worry about is preventing the cord from tangling around the furniture.

Simply, there aren’t too many alternatives for those cleaning devices, that would offer this level of performance. To this day, we are stoked, that features like Complete Seal Technology or HEPA filters can be found in vacuums for this price.

Of course, the vacuums can be found at various prices, but looking at the Amazon listings, both units can be found for the price of 169.99$ after discount.
